Michigan City, Indiana – John Freyek, Horizon Bank’s Market President of Lake County, is pleased to announce Jon Hildebrand as Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer at our Valparaiso, Calumet Avenue office.

With an impressive twenty-one years of experience in the banking industry, Hildebrand has successfully navigated roles in Retail Banking, Commercial Credit, and Small Business Lending.

Hildebrand's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Management with a minor in Finance from Purdue University, followed by the completion of his Masters of Business Administration from Valparaiso University. Moreover, he has honed his skills through programs such as the ABA Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Beyond his professional achievements, Hildebrand actively contributes to the community as a Board Member of the Visiting Nurse Association of Porter County, Vice President of the Valparaiso Schools Foundation, member, and past President of the Valparaiso Rotary Club, and Advisory Board Member of the Shirley Heinze Land Trust.
