Horizon Bank Announces Promotion of Alexis Harris as Community Reinvestment Act Officer

Michigan City, IN – Noe S Najera, Horizon Bank’s Executive Vice President, Senior Retail and Mortgage Lending Officer, is pleased to announce the promotion of Alexis Harris as Community Reinvestment Act Officer.

Harris has over twenty years of experience in the banking industry. She began her career with Horizon in 2018 as the Branch Manager of the Benton Harbor office. During this time she managed a staff of four while overseeing daily branch operations. In her new role, Harris will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering all aspects of the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program. She will work to establish relationships with community-based organizations to ensure the credit needs of the communities Horizon Bank serves are being met.

Harris attended Bethel College, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. She then went on to earn an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regent University. In addition, Harris is a member of the Diversity Business Council at Horizon where she assists in providing oversight for the bank’s many outreach efforts, with the goal of reaching diverse groups in the areas it serves.
