Horizon Bank Donates $3,000 to Support Mental Health Services in Northwest Indiana

Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank has once again demonstrated its commitment to the well-being of the community with a $3,000 donation to Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana (MHANWI). The funds will help the organization continue offering essential programs that support mental health and wellness for children, families, and individuals across the region.

Kim Modigell, Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer at Horizon Bank and a board member of MHANWI, joined John Freyek, Market President, in presenting the check to Andrea Sherwin, President/CEO of MHANWI.

“We’re proud to continue supporting MHANWI and the important work they do every day,” said Modigell. “Mental health touches all aspects of life, and it’s crucial that organizations like this have the resources to serve those who need it most.”

Horizon’s donation helps ensure MHANWI can sustain services such as education and advocacy—providing resources for the region’s residents.
