Horizon Bank Welcomes David Smitley as Assistant Vice President Senior Business Banker and Branch Manager

Michigan City, IN – Joshua Shelley, Horizon Banks Vice President, District Manager, is pleased to announce David Smitley as the new Assistant Vice President, Senior Business Banker and Branch Manager of our Indianapolis location on 302 N Alabama Street.

Smitley brings an impressive track record of twenty-five years of experience in the financial industry, making him a valuable asset to our team. His extensive expertise will enable him to provide expert guidance and support to our clients. In his new role, Smitley will assume various responsibilities including day to day branch operations, small business lending initiatives and building relationships with both retail and business clients.  

Smitley's educational background includes studies at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and the University of Mississippi. Furthermore, he actively volunteers at the Concord Neighborhood Center, demonstrating his dedication to making a positive impact on the local community.
